Welcome Lon Kreger

The uFondwaUSA Board of Directors is pleased to introduce our newest board member, Lon Kreger. 

"In my life, I’ve been blessed to see the far reaches of this beautiful earth, meet some incredible people and pursue my passion for feeding and clothing the world through agriculture, and I believe education is at the heart of that!" wrote Lon in a recent email to uFondwa USA contacts. 

He continued stating, "The decision then to 'lift where you stand' and join the uFondwaUSA board was an easy one. The University of Fondwa (UNIF) has a powerful mission to lift their communities and their country by lifting and educating their youth."

Lon has a deep belief in the UNIF mission to educate the next generation of Haiti’s leaders, and to empower rural communities to take on some of the country’s most intractable challenges like food security.

He brings to the uFondwaUSA board a passion for agriculture and experience as an executive in the agricultural industry. Lon is also the founder of two businesses, one focused on sustainability in industrial and residential concrete and the other providing business consulting services.
